Lead Inspection Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, plan, and coordinate all inspection activities throughout the project lifecycle.

• Review and approve inspection and test plans (ITPs), procedures, and vendor documentation.

• Conduct inspections at vendor sites and ensure adherence to contractual and technical specifications.

• Supervise and mentor a team of inspection engineers and inspectors.

• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of inspection findings and maintain traceable documentation.

• Liaise with procurement, engineering, and project management teams to ensure seamless execution.

• Resolve technical issues related to inspection and recommend corrective actions when needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering in a related discipline.

• Minimum 15 years of experience in inspection roles within oil & gas, petrochemical, or heavy industry sectors.

• Strong experience in vendor and procurement inspection (not quality control).

• In-depth knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, ISO).

• Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

•  Office-based role (with occasional vendor site visits)
