Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Project Interface Engineer to support and coordinate cross-discipline interfaces across offshore project teams. The ideal candidate will assist in managing technical and schedule-related interactions between internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders to ensure project cohesion and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Support interface coordination between engineering disciplines, procurement, construction, commissioning, and third-party vendors.
- Maintain and update the project interface register to track interface points and issues.
- Facilitate interface meetings, record action items, and monitor resolution progress.
- Assist in resolving scope boundaries and clarifying responsibilities across interfaces.
- Ensure documentation and deliverables are aligned across all interface points.
- Identify and escalate interface risks or conflicts early to avoid delays.
- Support development of interface control procedures and protocols.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related field).
- 8-12 years of experience in offshore oil & gas or large infrastructure projects.
- Good understanding of project workflows, especially multidisciplinary coordination.
- Strong documentation and organizational skills.
- Effective communicator with the ability to engage diverse project teams.
- BOSIET certification is preferred.
