Job Summary
Provide strategic, functional, operational support to the department by taking a specific, identified (leadership) role for agreed projects.
Responsibilities
- Define and oversee the structure and implementation of strategic initiatives, developing detailed work plans, collecting and analyzing relevant data, and formulating actionable recommendations
- Collaborate with key business partners to facilitate comprehensive planning processes, ensuring alignment with sound business recommendations and corporate strategy
- Create and coordinate plans for BUs, departments, segments, countries, and subsidiaries, ensuring they align with and support the overall corporate strategic direction
- Assist in Merger & Acquisition projects (primarily operational and commercial DD)
- Build forecasts and analytical models to provide insights into future scenarios, enabling proactive decision-making and strategic adjustments
- Conduct thorough analysis of competitors, focusing on technical, production, manufacturing, and construction capabilities to identify potential threats
- Perform competitive analyses to uncover gaps and opportunities in the marketplace, guiding strategic growth initiatives
- Select and apply appropriate frameworks, tools, and methodologies to effectively tackle strategic challenges
- Leverage expertise in areas such as business model development, financial modeling, product portfolio planning, organizational strategy, channel strategies, and customer/market research
- Ensure all activities comply with company policies, the Policy of Integrity & Code of Conduct, and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors Degree minimum (Masters Degree is an advantage)
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in the consulting industry, of which at least 5 years in equivalent roles.
- International exposure is an added value
- Experience in Dredging, Energy, Oil & Gas industry is an advantage
