Senior Fabrication Engineer (Offshore)

Job Summary

We are hiring a highly experienced Senior Fabrication Engineer to manage and oversee offshore structural fabrication activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant fabrication of offshore platforms, modules, and components in line with project specifications and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead fabrication planning and execution for offshore structures including topsides, jackets, skids, and piping modules.
• Review and approve fabrication drawings, welding procedures, and work packs.
• Supervise fabrication activities at yards and offshore sites to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Coordinate with engineering, QA/QC, procurement, and construction teams to ensure timely material delivery and fabrication progress.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with project schedules and technical requirements.
• Participate in inspections, FATs, and readiness reviews.
• Identify and resolve technical issues, RFIs, and deviations related to fabrication.
• Ensure alignment with industry codes (e.g., AWS, ASME, API, DNV).

Required Qualification & Skills

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Structural, or Civil Engineering.
• 15-18 years of relevant offshore fabrication experience, including 5+ years in a senior supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of welding, NDT, structural steel, piping fabrication, and yard operations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale offshore fabrication scopes.
• BOSIET certification is mandatory.
