Shop Lead Technician

We are currently seeking a hands-on, experienced Shop Lead Technician to take ownership of day-to-day shop operations and ensure that all equipment is repaired accurately, safely, and efficiently. This leadership role is ideal for someone who is both technically skilled and capable of managing a team, scheduling work, and keeping the shop running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day shop operations and serve as the go-to resource for technicians
• Ensure all equipment repairs are completed correctly and safely before leaving the shop
• Assign and schedule work based on technician experience and job complexity
• Monitor shop supplies and place orders as needed to maintain workflow
• Foster a collaborative team environment by mentoring and training technicians
• Promote safety, organization, and accountability in all aspects of shop operations

Qualifications

• Experience with preventative maintenance (PM services), brake systems, gas and diesel engines, drivetrain diagnostics and repairs, and electrical systems
• Proficiency in online troubleshooting tools and computer-based diagnostic systems
• Willingness to learn, train others, and lead by example
  Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
