Director of Advanced Manufacturing Engineering

As a global leader in automotive innovation, this OEM manufacturer is seeking a Director of Advanced Manufacturing Engineering to lead the integration of cutting-edge manufacturing processes and technologies. This position will drive efficiency and innovation across global operations, ensuring world-class production standards for the companys renowned vehicle portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement advanced manufacturing strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance scalability.
• Integrate emerging technologies such as automation, robotics, and Industry 4.0 into global production facilities.
• Collaborate with product design and R&D teams to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness of new designs.
• Oversee process standardization and optimization across all manufacturing sites.
• Ensure adherence to German engineering and quality standards, as well as global compliance regulations.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team of engineers and technical experts.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree (Masters prefered)  in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering; Masters degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in advanced manufacturing engineering, with a minimum of 5 years in a major OEM or equivalent environment.
• Proven success in implementing advanced technologies in manufacturing.
• Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to foster cross-functional collaboration.
