POSITION PURPOSE
Responsible for the timely, accurate and efficient preparation and management of projects, documents, identification compliance with standard templates and formats. Perform quality and compliance checks on all documentation before issuing. Reporting on the progress of projects. Providing design derivable support to project team members in delivering design outputs for multiple assigned projects.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
Working with the lead designers on the project to control and manage the engineering phase of the projects from materials,drawings, chasing subbies, PM on the project scope of work all along the journey, QS on the budget, Procurement on appointment of contractors, attend internal meetings and take notes of actions to be addressed by the designers.

Coordinate with supplier, design, FF&E design, procurement, PM, subcontractors as applicable to get all drawings submitted within the project timeline.
Responsible for collecting and reviewing all the data and requirements for the LEED certificate.
Raise and issue the relevant project documents in compliance with the companys ISO.
Monitor and track the drawings and materials submittals schedules to ensure all are submitted and approved by client to meet the project deadlines as per the program.
Issue the latest drawings to suppliers / subcontractors to obtain the shop drawings for client submission.
Chase the suppliers to submit the samples
Monitor and track the drawing and material registers to ensure all are submitted on time to meet the project deadlines as per the program (follow up with lead designer/FF&E designer/PM).
Centrally coordinate between site, office, and the sub-contractors to ensure timely completion of the project.
Generate a design program using primavera P06 for the project aligned with project construction program to set work
program and target milestones for each phase for ease of reference internally with design team.
Monitor critical and near critical activities based on the project schedule and advise site management.
Prepare and circulate design look ahead weekly plan based on look ahead schedule, to monitor productivity and planned vs. actual utilization.
Identify areas of weakness and prepare recovery / revised design program if any change and perform critical path analysis to check driving activities and preparing look ahead schedule.
Prepare and submit drawing transmittals based on the drawings shared by lead designer for client approval.
Centrally coordinate between site, office and the subcontractors to ensure timely completion of the project.
Monitor critical and near-critical activities based on project schedule and advise the respective team members lead designer, PQS, planner, procurement, site.
Maintain a proper filing and document control system for recording and tracking of all the documents for the design project team and department.
Maintain an up-to-date design change log with supporting documents.
Make necessary administrative arrangements during various meetings for the project.

QUALIFICATIONS\REQUIREMENTS:
Degree / Diploma in management or equivalent
Proficient in MS Office applications (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft, Power Point, Microsoft Outlook)
Minimum 5 years of experience in similar position
