POSITION TITLE : SITE SUPERVISOR

POSITION PURPOSE
The site supervisor will have be to maintain and monitor the progress of the works on site as per the project schedule, ensuring that all specifications are followed as per the drawings. He will be responsible for co-ordination on site with all internal and external subcontractors (on progress deliveries and any site delays) as well as with the Company Project Manager of the stated tasks.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
Candidate should have strong technical knowledge about the fitout works involved on site and excellent supervisory skills.
Understanding sketches and drawings and interpreting the same for execution on site.
He will be in charge of work crews, delegating responsibilities, and ensuring the project is completed successfully within time.
Incumbents are expected to assess job priorities and assign workers accordingly
Lays out daily work schedules and assigns tasks to appropriate individuals and coordinates the completion of the same.
Setting out, leveling and surveying the site.
Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials, planning the work and efficiently by organizing the site in order to meet agreed deadlines.
In conjunction with the Project Manager, plan and review overall status of the project(s) on an ongoing basis.
Ensure all site resource are effectively utilized and monitored in order to achieve timely completion of projects.
On an ongoing basis, monitor all works against specifications to ensure the continuing quality and accuracy of work performed.
Notify the Project Manager of any defects, mistakes, errors or variations identified.
Ensure that the Project Manager is promptly provided with any relevant documentation received from either the client or authorities.
Ensure successful completion of project installation on schedule.
