IT Specialist

Position: IT Specialist

Unidor is seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Specialist to join our team. As an IT Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our company's IT systems and infrastructure. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for growth and development within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network systems

- Install and configure computer systems, applications, and peripherals

- Monitor and maintain computer networks, including security and performance

- Provide technical support to employees and assist with training on new systems and software

- Conduct regular backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data protection

- Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement IT solutions to improve efficiency and productivity

- Stay up-to-date with new technology trends and make recommendations for upgrades or improvements

- Manage and maintain inventory of hardware and software licenses

- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and maintain data security standards

- Document and maintain IT procedures and processes for future reference

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

- 2+ years of experience in a similar role

- Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software applications

- Experience with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues

- Knowledge of data backup and disaster recovery procedures

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Knowledge of data security and compliance regulations

- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and constantly changing environment

- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) are a plus.
