JOB PURPOSE

Engineering Services and Spare Parts Store Supervisor is responsible for the technical warehouse. Oversees all spare parts movements, and related activities. Ensures spares availability at best cost effectiveness. Monitors, evaluates, and reports on the CMMS system. The role also includes maintenance quality evaluation and report, coordinating maintenance team, and engineering workshop activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain accurate records of spare parts inventory.
  • Monitor stock levels and initiate orders to replenish supplies.
  • Ensure proper labelling, storage, and handling of all parts.
  • Initiate spare parts purchases, providing all specification details and quantities; and managing lead-times, and ensures timely deliveries.
  • Develop and implement store policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and store management standards.
  • Tracks and documents spare parts usage, to support maintenance planning.
  • Registers and updates material and service data in maintenance systems and applications.
  • Monitors implementation of maintenance and service plans, and reports on them.
  • Implements Engineering Spare Parts standards, and enforce compliances.
  • Maintains total inventory value and store performance KPIs within set limits and values.
  • Ensures the store and engineering workshop are 5S and safety standards compliant.
  • Supervise and train other store personnel.


EXPERIENCE & ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS

  • NABTEB, WAEC Technical, OND in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in production and maintenance roles, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
  • Good knowledge and experience of manufacturing industry safety standards.
  • Experience in collating and reporting maintenance data.
  • Experience of engineering spare parts processes.
  • Good experience of preventive maintenance and engineering systems.
  • Proficiency in use of SAP PM, or other CMMS, and Microsoft Office.
