JOB PURPOSE

The Digital & Social Marketing Specialist will be responsible for maintaining UL brands online presence and sales through various marketing campaigns. The incumbent will research, strategize with other functions and external stakeholders, and create content for successful campaigns.

KEY JOB ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan and execute campaigns across different channels, including web, SEO/SEM, email, social media, and display advertising.
  • Strategize to reach the target audience effectively and maximize brand visibility.
  • Oversee UL brands social media accounts, ensuring consistent messaging and engagement with the audience.
  • Create and distribute content, monitor interactions, and manage social media campaigns.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of all marketing campaigns.
  • Measure key performance indicators (KPIs) and return on investment (ROI) to assess campaign success.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, optimize spend and performance based on insights.
  • Brainstorm creative growth strategies to enhance campaign outcomes.
  • Work closely with marketing agencies, programmers, and external vendors.
  • Ensure campaigns launch on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with other internal and external stakeholders to create landing pages and enhance user experience.
  • Instrument conversion points and evaluate end-to-end customer experiences across multiple channels.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption where appropriate.

EXPERIENCE & ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors degree or HND in marketing or any other related discipline.
  • Certifications in Digital marketing can be an added advantage.
  • 2 -5 years of cognate experience in managing Digital Marketing projects.
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns.
