A. PROFILE
Role Title: Facilities Specialist (Mandalay)
Reporting to: Facilities Manager

B. CONTEXT
Purpose: To maintain the U9 office facilities and to provide support to the U9 functional activities and operations of facilities for the U9 Office.
Context: This role is to support the facilities management by maintaining and supporting facility operations for office equipment and staff.
C. ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
Overview
- To provide daily inspection of the M & E system in the building inclusive of maintenance and housekeeping. And as well as schedule maintenance for the office equipment, Supervision of sub- contractor to carry out preventive and predictive maintenance work as per schedules.
- To attend equipment breakdown and troubleshooting to ensure smooth running of M & E operating system in the building.
- To coordinate with sub-contractors to carry out renovation, additional and alternation work, remodeling or major repair of building facilities and direct supervision and coordination of building maintenance and operational projects at the U9 office building
- Develop and maintain cooperative working relations with Building owners, contractors and others contacted in the course of the work.
- Work schedules for renovation, remodeling, and repairs of the office building and ground facilities will have to be effectively assigned, support line manager with the cost of projects estimation.
- To provide assistance to any U9 internal or external events.
- Provide troubleshooting and resolution of building maintenance and operational issues of both internal customers and external vendors.
Planning & Organizing
- Provide maintenance of building operational system by working under the supervision of the Facility Manager.
- Planning, organizing, and coordinating the execution of complex operational and maintenance works and/or operational issues in all areas of building management
- Direct supervision and coordination of building maintenance and operational projects at the U9 office building

Interacts with:
Internal: All U9 staff
External: All facilities outsourced vendors, building management.
Decision Making
- Day-to-day operational issues can be resolved independently unless assistance is required.
- The complex decisions or those with high impact are taken in conjunction with the Facilities Manager.
F. EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience & Essential Knowledge
- 3 years of experience in similar roles
- Intermediate level knowledge of the Facilities Management process
- Good in analytical and problem-solving skills
- Basis Microsoft Office Package
- Good English proficiency both oral and written
Minimum Entry Qualifications
- BE or AGTI (Electrical) or any electrical diploma
