B. CONTEXT

Purpose:

Organization is rapidly evolving toward digital-first models. In this context, the role ensures that business requirements are clearly defined, translated into scalable digital solutions, and delivered effectively in alignment with organizational goals. You will be responsible for capturing and analysing all business requirements and overseeing the development of the user interfaces and components. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, business stakeholders, and developers, to ensure delivery of high-quality mobile applications that meet the needs of the business and end users in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Context:

As a '' Solution Business Analyst Manager (Digital Services)'' you will be part of the U9 Digital Team – the team that takes care of the full Digital ecosystem, including U9 SuperApp, M-Pitesan, Dealer App, U9 Website, all Digital Products & Services (such as O-Cade), Social Media channels ... and so much more.

C. ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide technical expertise and analysis for developing our mobile applications.
  • Capture all business requirements, and consolidate into an end-to-end Functional Specifications Document for development:
    • Interact directly with all internal and external stakeholders. Ranging from customers, team members, UI/UX designers, customer experience, finance, revenue assurance, product partners, development partners, operations & technology. Up to senior management alignment for buy-in of all product features.
    • Own solution design skillset and knowledge: ability to translate all given requirements into actual business solutions.
  • Oversee the implementation of front-end user interfaces, server-side APIs, databases, and other components, ensuring seamless integration and functionality across different layers of the apps.
  • Provide optimization analysis for performance, scalability, and security, adhering to best practices and industry standards in development.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to assure implementation of visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces and provide input on usability and accessibility considerations.
  • Test all App components to identify and fix any issues or bugs and ensure smooth functioning.
  • Understand the overall app architecture and provide recommendations for improvements or optimizations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and business stakeholders, to ensure timely delivery of end-to-end solutions that meet project requirements and business goals
  • Keep up to date with the latest industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to mobile app development, and provide recommendations for incorporating new technologies or frameworks into the development process.
  • Participate in code reviews, brainstorming sessions, and other team activities to continuously improve the quality of the mobile applications and the development process.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, project managers, and business stakeholders to provide progress updates, address questions or concerns, and ensure successful delivery of mobile applications.

Internal: Marketing (Consumer – Marketing Communications), Customer Experience, ICT, B2B, Finance, RA

External: App development & solution provider partners

Decision Making:

U9 SuperApp UI/UX code development implementation approach as per business requirements

F. EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience & Essential Knowledge

Ideal candidate for this role has a design & development background, combined with solid business analyst skillset 5-7 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.

  • Strong and proven work experience in development for mobile applications, specifically Android and iOS apps (experience in Telco or Mobile Financial Services sector is a plus)
  • Technologies such as Java, Kotlin, Swift, or other suitable frameworks
  • Knowledge of database design, query optimization, and caching techniques
  • Familiarity with mobile app performance optimization techniques and best practices
  • Understanding of app architecture, including interactions between front-end and back-end components
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, product managers, and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in an agile development environment and meet project deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify and fix issues and bugs
  • Knowledge of SCRUM & AGILE


Minimum Entry Qualifications

  • Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Fluent English language
