A. PROFILE
Role Title: Power Engineer
Reporting to: Field Supervisor
Division: Network Planning & Operations

B. CONTEXT
Purpose: Day to day operation for passive equipment CM, PM and operation related task.
Context: Under Technology & Information, network operation to support, U9 SBS site and Own site O&M scope.
C. ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
Overview:
- Responsible for overall Power Equipment testing, configuration, and installation.
- Troubleshoot complex multi-area issues to identify root cause and corrective action.
- Repair lithium batteries, rectifiers, and electronic parts.
- Able to do Installation & Commissioning of new power plant and swap power sub-rack if required.
- Responsible for DG control panel installation.
- Responsible for the checking of return and deliver power asset.
- Responsible for the quality assurance of Power-related asset.
- Able to do Remote monitoring system visibility and rectification.
- Responsible for second level support to maintenance partners during emergencies.
- Contribute to power commissioning and monitoring acceptances and sign off.
- Support or install/swapping but not limited to, all software upgrades, Router, Controller, Modem, Relays, Fuel Sensors.
- Support and repair/reconditioning of all returned power equipment.
- Attend the technical site surveys and audits.
- Verifies site installations, prepares the assets distribution.
- Maintain safe, secure, work environments by following and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
- Ensure all required reports are accurate and are delivered on time.

- SBS site performance BH hour
- To meet assigned MTTR
- PM done according to the schedule
- Site RMS on line 100% + or – 5%
E. WORKING RELATIONSHIPS & DECISION MAKING
Interacts with:
Internal: Operation manager, Field Supervisor, Field Coordinator, Energy Billing Coordinator
External: Site owner (land lord) and third party suppliers, NOC
Decision Making
- Decision making on minor operational issues, corrective maintenance, preventive maintenance as per procedure
F. EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience & Essential Knowledge
- 3-5 years relevant experience as Power Engineer in Telecom Field.
- Strong experience in power systems and technical background on different types of Power Systems and Diesel Generator, RMS.
- Excellent communication & analytical skills
- Able to cope with O&M 24x7 working environment.
- Driving license is a must.
Minimum Entry Qualifications
- Bachelors degree Holder – Electrical and Mechanical, Electronics, Mechatronic Engineering
- Good Microsoft Office Skills
