A. PROFILE

Role Title: Commercial Operations Specialist
Reporting to: Senior Manager Commercial Operations
Division: Marketing

B. CONTEXT

Purpose: To support the Business As usual (BAUs) Operations and Project Operations Reporting and manage SIM registration data preparation, uploading and data management.
Context: The Operations Support Specialist is responsible for the end-to-end management of vendor/agency operations, covering billing, performance monitoring, reporting, data analysis, and PTD project data management. This role ensures data accuracy, compliance, operational reporting excellence, and continuous process, system improvement.

C. ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. Data Support, Data Cleaning, and Reporting
    • Perform daily, weekly and monthly reporting for SIM registration operations data, trend, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
    • Work closely with the BI, Business and ICT Stakeholders to ensure operational data and project data accuracy and compliance.
    • Support PTD project data tasks, including data preparation, system uploads and basic monitoring and reconciliation with internal teams and external partners as needed
    • Maintain the SIM Registration Operational Database by conducting accurate data uploads, updating records, resolving data errors and generating simple operational summaries and reports as required.
  2. Problem Solving and Issue Escalation
    • Maintain clear and professional communication with internal stakeholders through verbal and written formats.
    • Deliver the fast action taken related with SIM registration and compliance issue and escalate the highlighted issues for immediate fix.
    • Suggest and implement improvements for report automation and enhancement.
    • Cooperating with other departments for SIM registration and compliance related issues and process development
  3. Process and System Enhancement
    • Participate in UAT testing, and system deployment activities with post-deployment verification by collaborating with internal stakeholders for SIM registration and related system implementations and customer experience process enhancement.
    • Monitor and assist to ensure smooth operation of the SIM Registration system, escalating issues to IT stakeholders as needed.
    • Proactively and continuously review and seek areas of improvement in SIM data management and complaint resolution processes.
  4. Stakeholder Management & Communication
    • Work with internal stakeholders to support and other business initiatives.
  5. Operational Supports
    • Support the complete billing process for agency operations, including timely billing calculation, invoices, reconciliation, and transaction processing.
    • Prepare departmental administrative manual work

F. EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience & Essential Knowledge

  1. 1 – 2 years of hands-on experience telecommunication industries and documentation controls, data analysis and reporting
  2. Essential Knowledge: IT operation practices, advanced MS Excel skills, and basic familiarity with data and reporting tools.
  3. Additional Knowledge (Advantageous): Understanding of telecom processes and SIM registration compliance, along with basic database and reporting skills
  4. Language skills: English, Myanmar
  5. High integrity with strong confidentiality, well-organized, able to multitask, prioritize, and work independently to meet deadlines.
  6. Able to assist additional tasks and special projects as needed to support team and business objectives.

Minimum Entry Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent university degree
