Purpose:

As a ''Solutions Business Analyst Manager'' you will be part of the U9 Digital Team – the team that takes care of the full Digital ecosystem, including U9 App, M-Pitesan, Dealer App, U9 Website, all Digital Products & Services, Social Media channels ... and so much more. If it is Digital – this team handles it!

Context:

As a Solutions Business Analyst Manager for MFS, you will be responsible for capturing and analyzing business requirements and translating them into clear solution designs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams — including product managers, business stakeholders, UI/UX designers, and developers — to ensure the delivery of high-quality mobile applications that meet business objectives and provide an exceptional user experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

C. ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into clear, actionable requirements for digital and mobile solutions.
  • Capture, analyze, and document business requirements, consolidating them into comprehensive end-to-end Functional Specification Documents for development teams.
  • Engage directly with a wide range of stakeholders — including customers, UI/UX designers, customer experience, finance, revenue assurance, product partners, development partners, operations & technology, and senior management — to ensure alignment and buy-in on product features.
  • Own the solution design process by translating requirements into practical business solutions that align with overall product strategy and technical feasibility.
  • Support implementation by working closely with development and technology teams to ensure seamless integration of solution components across systems and applications.
  • Provide recommendations for optimization in performance, scalability, and security, aligned with best practices and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure requirements are reflected in user-friendly, visually appealing, and accessible interfaces.
  • Support testing and validation of delivered features, ensuring that business requirements and solution designs are met.
  • Maintain an understanding of the overall app architecture to identify areas for improvement or optimization.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams — including developers, project managers, and business stakeholders — to ensure timely delivery of solutions that meet business goals.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to digital and mobile solutions, and provide recommendations for adoption where applicable.
  • Contribute to team discussions, workshops, and brainstorming sessions to continuously improve solution quality and delivery processes.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing progress updates, addressing questions, and ensuring alignment throughout the delivery lifecycle.

  • Quality of: Requirements and Analysis Documents (CR – Change Request, FSD – Functional Specifications Document)
  • Time taken from Ideation of requirements to Approved FSD document
  • % of requirements fully implemented

Internal: Marketing (Consumer – Marketing Communications), Customer Experience, ICT, B2B, Finance

External: App development & solution providing partners

U9 UI/UX code development implementation approach as per business requirements


F. EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience & Essential Knowledge

  • Ideal candidate for this role has a design & development background, combined with solid business analyst skillset 5-7 years of experience in business analysis or a related field
  • Strong and proven work experience in development for mobile applications, specifically Android and iOS apps (experience in Telco or Mobile Financial Services sector is a plus)
  • Proficiency in technologies such as Java, Kotlin, Swift, or other suitable frameworks
  • Knowledge of database design, query optimization, and caching techniques
  • Familiarity with mobile app performance optimization techniques and best practices
  • Understanding of app architecture, including interactions between front-end and back-end components
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, product managers, and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in an agile development environment and meet project deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify and fix issues and bugs
  • Knowledge of SCRUM & AGILE


Minimum Entry Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree / Master's Degree (is a plus)
  • Fluent English
