You'll lead financial reporting, compliance, treasury management, investment portfolios, and long-term financial planning, ensuring financial integrity and best-practice operations.

You'll build and maintain strong relationships across all levels of the organisation, and lead, develop and mentor a dedicated finance team to achieve section and organisational goals. You will also oversee the maintenance and enhancement of financial systems and controls to ensure compliance with legislation, grant acquittals, benchmarking, and tax obligations, and play a key role in shaping Councils long-term financial future.

The CFO is hiring for a financial professional with experience in financial and statutory reporting. Exposure to local government or a complex regulatory environment will be welcomed, and you have CPA or CA qualification (or be working towards it), strong analytical skills, and a desire to influence financial strategy and governance.
