I am excited to be working with the Australian Maths Trust (AMT) in their search for a Director of Competitions and Programs. As a small non-profit with global reach, AMTs mission is preparing todays students to face a future full of real-world problems. Problems that'll require ingenuity, creativity, and determination to solve.
As the Director of Competitions and Programs with AMT you will be leading a team that shapes the future of maths education across Australia and internationally. As a pivotal position for AMT, your team will drive engagement with hundreds of thousands of students, operational revenue and inspire young minds here in Australia and in over 20 countries.
You'll have the opportunity to lead strategic initiatives alongside a talented team of volunteers, mathematicians, and educators.
As a member of the Executive, reporting to the CEO, your focus will be on developing a strategic vision, looking at continuous improvement across products and platforms and building partnerships. You'll steer digital transformation projects, empower a diverse team, and engage key stakeholders. Please be assured, experience in mathematics isn't necessary as you will work alongside some of the best mathematical minds in the field.
You might be an innovative leader from the business or not-for-profit sector with strong commercial sense and a knack for engaging stakeholders. You thrive in a multi-layered environment, and understand, or can quickly learn, the dynamics of school relationships and manage a high-performing team. Experience in project management, financial acumen, and adaptability across various operational areas will be essential.
