Dealer Development Representative – Automotive Aftermarket

Base Salary: USD 80,000–100,000

Business travel expenses covered

Our client is an automotive performance aftermarket business expanding its offline dealer network across the U.S.

This role is ideal for someone who already knows the Texas automotive aftermarket, enjoys being in the field, and has the relationships to open doors with performance shops, repair shops, builders and aftermarket dealers.

What You'll Do

Develop and onboard new automotive aftermarket dealers and shop partners across Texas

Build relationships with shop owners, builders and key local decision-makers

Conduct regular in-person visits, product presentations and account development

Drive new account growth and repeat business within the territory

Represent a multi-brand performance aftermarket portfolio

Manage pipeline and account activity through CRM

Represent the business at automotive trade shows and regional industry events

Share market feedback on customer demand, competitors and product opportunities

What We're Looking For

Must Have

2+ years of B2B / territory / dealer / outside sales experience

Automotive aftermarket or automotive parts experience

Strong automotive product knowledge

Existing relationships within the Texas performance shop, repair shop, off-road, truck accessory or aftermarket dealer network

Fluent English

Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Valid driver's license and willingness to travel across Texas

Strong prospecting and new-account development skills

Preferred

Experience with performance parts, fuel systems, exhaust, AN fittings, tuning, truck accessories or off-road products is highly valued. SEMA / PRI exposure and Spanish are pluses.

Candidates can be based anywhere in Texas. Regular travel to Dallas is required, but daily office attendance is not.
