Job Offer – OS (Ordinary Seaman)

Albanian OS are required for work during a vessels stay at the Port of Durrës.

Job Details:

The vessel will stay at Port of Durrës for up to 3 days

Approximately 2 – 2.5 working days per week

Candidates will not sail with the vessel

STCW is not mandatory

Ordinary Seaman (OS) – Job Specifications

An Ordinary Seaman (OS) is an entry-level deck crew member who assists the deck department with basic maintenance, cleaning, and operational tasks on board a vessel or while the ship is in port.

1. Main Responsibilities

Assist Able Seamen (AB) and the Bosun with daily deck duties

Perform cleaning and maintenance of the deck, equipment, and work areas

Help with mooring and unmooring operations when the vessel arrives or departs

Assist in cargo handling operations if required

Perform painting, rust removal, and general maintenance of the ships exterior

Help maintain safety equipment and deck gear

Participate in watchkeeping duties if assigned

Working shifts:

 – 07:00 – 15:00

 – 15:00 – 23:00

 – 23:00 – 07:00

Accommodation & Meals:

Accommodation is not provided on board. Meals will be provided during working hours.
