Job Description
Supervises, leads and directs department activity in any area as assigned according to SOP (Standard Operating Process) in order to deliver an excellent service to the Guest.
Language Skills:
English - B1 Level
German - B1 Level
Main Responsibilities:
-Regularly visit Guest at the table during service to ensure Guest satisfaction and establish a good relationship to improve service delivery.
- Assures that the assigned areas are arranged as per manual by supervising the area and controlling the Buffet set up.
- Organises the shift schedules, controls and assigns the Staff to the directed station in order to provide speedy, courteous and professional buffet service according to Company procedures.
- Supervises cleaning, maintenance and sanitation in order to assure adherence to USPH standard and require immediate reparation of out of order equipment.
- Takes in charge or reports to the line manager Guests complaints in order to provide a fast and effective solution.
- Leads training sessions and follows up to ensure the training is achieving set goals.
- Supervises special events (i.e. beverage service on Pier, Pizzeria, generic food outlet) in order to assure adequate arrangement.
- Is responsible for and takes physical inventories of all materials and products located in the assigned area on weekly basis.
- Provides regular performance evaluation of the assigned Staff.
- At the end of each service fills in a report regarding the service execution and transmits it to the head of department.
- Facilitate a work environment that supports a successful safety culture. Is responsible for ensuring that his/her team implements and maintains an effective Hess management system. Enforce and promote Safety procedures in the team/Department under responsibility.
- Follows the instructions received as per protocol applied on Covid-19 spread prevention rules.
- Supports an effective health and safety culture proactively informing Guest on any infringement or missing application of procedures and reporting to the Head of Department the critical situation.
- Maintains a high responsible approach applying social distancing rules also during non-working activities.
- Supports the new organisation of the onboard activity performing tasks enhancing health standards (i.e. temperature screening, sanitisation of the working place, instructions to passengers).

* Proof of Vaccination OR laboratory confirmation of previous disease (IgG) required. Where no original vaccine documentation available, necessary to prove serologic. IgG blood test confirming immunity (antibody check valid for life).
