Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Associate Network Engineer:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in designing cost-effective network systems and services in accordance with industry standards and best practices
  • Prepare and execute test plans to validate integration, performance, coverage, and capacity
  • Review and maintain technical documentation for network processes and configurations
  • Support the setup and maintenance of LAN, WAN, internet, wireless, and remote access systems
  • Validate software-defined network (SDN) infrastructure and support new technology evaluations
  • Coordinate the installation, upgrades, and operation of network devices and systems
  • Monitor network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and technical alignment
  • Support procurement and provide technical input on networking equipment and services
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and ensure proper execution and testing
  • Troubleshoot and conduct root cause analysis of network faults
  • Collaborate with teams to implement automation solutions for recurring issues
  • Execute recovery plans in test and production environments
  • Review and ensure compliance with information security policies and network security protocols
  • Assess security configurations and perform risk assessments related to potential cyber threats
  • Recommend and implement remediation measures for security vulnerabilities
  • Manage and escalate security incidents when necessary

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in the IT networking field, including pre- or post-sales exposure on medium to large-scale infrastructure projects
  • CCNA or CCNP certification is required
  • Additional certifications in industrial security products are advantageous
  • Hands-on experience with networking technologies and protocols including Routing, Switching, Wireless, MPLS, DHCP, DNS, NAC, Proxy, Syslog, Firewall, SSL VPN, Network Management, and Structured Cabling
  • Strong understanding of interdependencies between application, system, and network services
  • Able to work independently and engage effectively with customers, partners, and cross-functional teams
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Adaptable with a positive, solution-oriented mindset
  • Team player with the determination to achieve technical excellence
  • High standard of customer service and professionalism
  • Self-driven and motivated to continuously improve and succeed

Additional Information:

  • Salary: Up to SGD 4,500 + AWS
  • Working Location: Redhill
  • Working Hours: 5 Days Work, Mon to Thu, 8.30 am to 6 pm, Fri 8.30 am to 5.30 pm
