About the job Technical Support Engineer
Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Technical Support Engineer:
Job Responsibilities:
- Respond to technical inquiries from sales teams and customers via phone and email regarding product capabilities, specifications, and applications
- Troubleshoot customer issues remotely and provide appropriate technical solutions
- Conduct application testing and prepare product demonstrations for sales teams and customers
- Develop and update training materials, technical manuals, and product documentation
- Deliver in-person and virtual training sessions for new hires and experienced sales representatives
- Research and analyze competitor products and market trends
- Collaborate with the product development team, including overseas stakeholders, on new product releases and literature
- Maintain and update internal platforms (e.g., intranet, newsletters) with relevant product information
- Participate in on-site customer visits and support sales presentations, if required
- Support office administrative tasks, including quotation and order entry
- Identify areas for operational improvement and contribute to process enhancement initiatives
- Perform other duties or projects as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Computer, Electrical, Mechanical) or equivalent technical field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in technical support, product training, or applications engineering
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in a simple manner
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Service-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to customer support
- Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate effectively with international counterparts
- Willingness to travel occasionally for training or customer seminars
Additional Information:
- Salary: Up to SGD 4,200 + AWS + VB (Around 2 - 3 Months)
- Working Location: Kallang
- Working Hours: 5 Days Work, Monday - Friday, 8.15am to 5.30pm
