Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Senior Manager, Credit Control:
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective credit control policies to manage credit risk.
- Conduct periodic reviews of customer creditworthiness and financial standing.
- Monitor aging reports and identify overdue accounts for timely follow-up.
- Oversee the collections process to ensure timely receipt of payments.
- Establish follow-up procedures, payment plans, and resolution protocols for disputes.
- Coordinate with internal finance personnel to resolve discrepancies in customer accounts.
- Lead and mentor a team of credit control and collections staff.
- Set and review team KPIs, conduct performance appraisals, and organize training sessions to improve team capabilities.
- Maintain professional relationships with customers to facilitate effective communication on payment-related matters.
- Respond promptly to queries and resolve disputes in a customer-centric manner.
- Generate and present regular performance reports to management, including aging and collection statistics.
- Analyze collection data to identify trends and recommend improvements to processes.
- Ensure adherence to applicable financial regulations and internal policies regarding credit control.
- Proactively identify and address credit-related risks.
- Work with sales, finance, and operations teams to align credit control efforts with business objectives.
- Participate in interdepartmental projects to enhance workflow efficiency.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in credit control and collections, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
- Prior experience in financial services such as auto financing, factoring, unsecured lending, or property-backed loan operations will be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of credit principles, financial analysis, and legal aspects of collections.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to lead teams and drive results in a collaborative work environment.
Additional Information:
- Salary: Up to SGD 8,000+ AWS+ VB (2 Months)
- Working Location: Newton
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
