Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Mechanical Engineer:
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure all maintenance tasks are carried out systematically, efficiently, and in compliance with safety regulations.
- Enhance existing preventive maintenance systems to reduce costs and improve equipment performance.
- Create, update, and maintain SOPs, ISO documentation, and regulatory equipment registrations.
- Lead and coordinate modifications, additions, or replacements in the system through the Management of Change (MOC) process.
- Assist the department manager and supervisor in overseeing daily operations and activities.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to mechanical systems and equipment malfunctions.
- Work closely with the operations team to execute daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance programs for optimal equipment performance.
- Provide training for technicians and staff on equipment maintenance and oversee the implementation of 5S and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities.
- Assist in identifying faults and proposing action plans for system or process improvements.
- Participate in new projects, handle document preparation, coordinate with contractors and vendors, and manage related administrative tasks.
- Monitor and maintain spare parts and tools for mechanical and electrical instruments.
- Ensure adherence to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations within the section.
- Oversee the proper documentation and record-keeping of maintenance activities.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Facilities Maintenance Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years in mechanical maintenance, preferably in large-scale industrial settings such as manufacturing, mining, or waste management.
- Expertise in mechanical systems design, installation, and maintenance.
- Proficiency in CAD software, CMMS software, and other engineering design tools
- Basic hands-on experience in mechanical equipment repair and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of conveyors, pumps, and rotating equipment.
- Familiarity with pump alignment and health monitoring inspection.
- Strong understanding of preventive maintenance planning and execution.
- Ability to work independently and manage contractors and technicians.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Additional Information:
- Salary: Up to SGD 4,100 + AWS + VB (1 Month) + Joining Bonus + Quarterly Incentive
- Working Location: Tuas Crescent
- Working Hours: 5.5 Work Days, Monday to Friday (8am to 5pm), Alternate Sat (8am to 12pm)
- Company transport/Transport Allowance provided
