Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Production Trainee:
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and organize raw materials and packaging items required for daily production activities.
- Support the full production process, including bottle labeling, product filling, and material handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the work area, and ensure that equipment and machinery are kept in good working condition.
- Manage documentation and records throughout the production cycle from material pre-weighing to the final handover of finished goods to the warehouse.
- Support both internal and external audits, including maintaining and updating ISO documentation and related records.
- Communicate with raw material suppliers regarding quotations and stock availability; source alternatives and conduct pre-testing if a material is unavailable or obsolete.
- Assist in onboarding and guiding new employees to ensure proper understanding of production processes.
- Help raise purchase requisitions for raw materials and work with supervisors to plan production schedules based on current inventory levels.
- Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) by all production staff, maintaining compliance with workplace safety and process quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and learn end-to-end production processes to provide support across tasks.
- Create, update, and maintain records using enterprise systems (e.g., SAP or equivalent).
- Actively participate in team meetings by providing constructive feedback, suggestions, or highlighting concerns.
- Perform other duties or projects assigned by management in support of departmental goals.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Applied Chemistry, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Able to work independently with integrity and sound judgment.
- Willingness to learn and perform hands-on tasks as part of daily responsibilities.
- Strong communication skills to effectively coach team members and respond to operational or client queries.
- Familiarity with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) is an advantage.
- Proficient in basic computer applications and enterprise resource planning systems (e.g., SAP).
Additional Information:
- Salary: Up to SGD 2,100 +AWS +VB (1 Month)
- Working Location: Yio Chu Kang
- Working Hours: 5.5 Days Work Week, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm, Saturday 9am to 1pm
