Technical Development Senior Specialist

Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Technical Development Senior Specialist:

Job Responsibilities

• Manage and support small to medium-scale mobility or smart technology projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and timely delivery.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define and document functional requirements, and convert them into technical specifications and system design.
• Oversee and conduct solution testing activities, including functional, integration, and interface testing covering test strategy, planning, design, execution, and issue resolution.
• Address and resolve User Acceptance Testing (UAT) issues promptly, minimizing impact on project timelines.
• Manage deployment of IT solutions and provide post-implementation support and issue resolution to ensure business continuity.
• Participate throughout the software development lifecycle, covering in-house and vendor-managed projects to ensure adherence to best practices and technical standards.
• Support the implementation of global or regional IT solutions within Southeast Asia.
• Partner with business teams to align on long-term strategies and contribute to the development of technical roadmaps.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to improve business competitiveness.
• Continuously improve project workflows and development efficiency.
• Provide support on strategic and cross-functional projects as assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Possess 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in IT project or solution delivery roles.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC) or technical solution implementation.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate user needs into actionable and scalable technical solutions.
• Experience with Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS), smart systems, or IoT-based projects is an advantage.
• Familiarity with IoT hardware integration, front-end/back-end system architecture, and application APIs.
• Project management experience in the IT domain.
• Exposure to product design and discovery processes, including user research and experience (UX/UI) development is an advantage.
• Knowledge of system architecture design is an advantage.
• Experience with prototyping tools such as Figma or Sketch is an advantage.
• Technical skills in programming languages such as Python, .NET, or Java is an advantage.
• Strong time management and multitasking skills; able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, self-motivated, and able to work well under pressure.
• Strong sense of accountability, ownership, and collaboration with a team-first mindset.
• Willing to adopt a global outlook while adapting to local operational needs.
• Willing and able to travel within Southeast Asia.

Additional Information:

• Salary: Up to SGD 4,700 +VB (4 - 6 Months)
• Working Location: Tanjong Pagar
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm
