Senior / Lead DevOps Engineer

Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Senior / Lead DevOps Engineer:

Job Responsibilities

• Lead a team of DevOps engineers to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible for automated provisioning and configuration of infrastructure resources.
• Configure and manage container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, or Amazon ECS for containerized application deployment.
• Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or AWS CloudWatch to ensure system performance and security.
• Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure, processes, and procedures in a centralized knowledge base.
• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot issues, optimize application performance, and implement best practices for scalability, reliability, and security.
• Provide technical leadership by conducting code, design, and architecture reviews to ensure quality and maintainability.
• Manage the release process for software applications and services in staging and production environments.
• Work closely with security teams to enforce policies and implement infrastructure security standards.
• Drive automation initiatives to streamline workflows and repetitive tasks for improved efficiency.
• Participate in capacity planning, load testing, and performance optimization activities.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure costs, analyze usage patterns, and implement cost-saving strategies, including rightsizing instances and optimizing resource utilization.
• Mentor and coach team members to foster a culture of learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Stay updated on emerging DevOps technologies, cloud computing trends, and industry best practices.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities.
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Proficiency in scripting/programming languages such as Python or Shell.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, version control systems (e.g., Git), and build automation tools.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS.
• Expertise in infrastructure security and incident management practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel for collaboration with offshore teams.

Additional Information:

• Salary: Up to SGD 10,000 +AWS +VB (2 - 3 Months)
• Working Location: Tanjong Pagar
