Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Supply Chain Manager (6 Months Contract):

Job Responsibilities:

  • Represent the organization in negotiations with vendors, including minimum order quantities (MOQs), pricing, and terms and conditions.
  • Consolidate orders and shipments across APAC regions to meet vendor MOQs efficiently.
  • Determine purchase quantities and delivery timings to optimize inventory turnover.
  • Assist with other supply chain-related tasks as required.
  • Oversee procurement, vendor management, purchase order (PO) management, and inventory management processes.
  • Conduct cost and scenario analysis, as well as benchmarking activities.
  • Lead the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process in collaboration with sales and marketing teams.
  • Ensure vendor records, product details, and cost information are accurately maintained in ERP systems.
  • Work with third-party logistics providers (3PL) and warehouses to investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies on a monthly basis.
  • Coordinate with factories/vendors to address and resolve quality issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate standard cost data and update it on a quarterly basis.
  • Adhere to and enforce procurement policies, procedures, and rules to ensure compliance with organizational guidelines.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Operations, or Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • MBA from an internationally recognized university is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in supply chain management, sourcing, or purchasing.
  • At least 2 years of recent work experience overseas.
  • In-depth understanding of overseas e-commerce industry.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and drive results effectively.
  • Able to work for 6 months of maternity cover

Additional Information:

  • Salary: Up to SGD 6,000
  • Working Location: Jurong East
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15 AM - 5:45 PM
