Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Head of Procurement :

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with operations teams to deliver supply chain efficiencies and excellence across key business segments.
  • Identify and implement global procurement best practices, tools, and processes to enhance team capabilities and streamline the interface between procurement and operations.
  • Work with internal teams to develop innovative value propositions and service delivery models that differentiate the company from competitors, adding value for current and prospective clients.
  • Oversee material tenders with both current and potential suppliers, ensuring transparency, simplicity, and commercial focus in the process.
  • Ensure clear accountability and define requirements for internal teams to meet bid management timelines and client expectations.
  • Manage key supplier categories to ensure responsiveness and performance, overseeing the procurement of food, non-food items, and services.
  • Build and maintain international networks to identify and introduce innovative service offerings and business models.
  • Partner with the Head of Operations to develop and implement supply chain strategies with clear purchasing processes, controls, and templates tailored to each business sector.
  • Analyze and share market trends, providing insights into how to leverage supplier capabilities and industry developments to gain a competitive advantage.
  • Monitor emerging market needs and expectations, as well as competitor activities, to inform strategic responses.
  • Ensure that organizational infrastructure supports the achievement of supply chain targets and continuous process improvement.
  • Contribute to new business tenders by ensuring accuracy and quality of supply chain inputs.
  • Implement risk assessment and control frameworks for managing supplier relationships.
  • Define task and performance expectations for direct reports, monitoring progress and taking corrective action as needed.
  • Collaborate with operations to ensure successful mobilization of new clients and smooth project execution.
  • Work with direct reports to develop and implement individual development plans aimed at improving performance.
  • Develop long-term business plans (3-5 years), set resource allocation and budget targets, and align them with overall business strategy.
  • Ensure full compliance with legal, regulatory, and corporate governance standards.
  • Leverage scalable and templated supply chain solutions to enhance client and customer experiences while driving operational efficiency.

    Job Requirements:

    • A degree in business or a related discipline.
    • Proven track record of driving year-on-year supply chain efficiencies and performance, supported by strong operational discipline and excellence.
    • Strategic thinking with the ability to innovate and create value propositions based on market trends and customer insights.
    • Experience in the Food and Beverage or Catering industry is an advantage.

    Additional Information:

    • Salary: Up to SGD 10,000 +VB (1 - 2 Months)
    • Working Location: Tai Seng
    • Working Days: 5 working days (Monday to Friday) 
    • Working Hours: 9:00am - 6:00pm
    • Handphone allowance and transport allowance are claimable
