Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Head of Procurement :

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the organization's procurement strategy and procurement functions within Singapore.
  • Develop and enhance procurement best practices, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Identify, assess, and recommend suitable vendors through market research and evaluation.
  • Manage procurement documentation for supplies, equipment, and services, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and guidelines.
  • Establish key performance indicators to enhance supply reliability, quality, and cost efficiency.
  • Set up bid standards and oversee the solicitation of bids and contracts.
  • Obtain and evaluate cost estimates for required materials, supplies, and services.
  • Maintain a database of approved suppliers and conduct periodic performance evaluations.
  • Monitor procurement spending, contractor performance, and contract renewal timelines.
  • Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with relevant policies.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the procurement team, supporting various business units.
  • Establish a center of excellence to drive procurement effectiveness and operational improvements.
  • Adhere to workplace health, safety, and security policies.
  • Maintain high standards of personal safety and hygiene.
  • Report incidents and hazards promptly.
  • Complete all required health, safety, and environmental training.
  • Comply with food safety standards and hygiene protocols.

    Job Requirements:

    • Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Management, Procurement, or a related field.
    • Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar procurement role.
    • Experience in procurement within the food and beverage sector is advantageous.
    • Proficiency in SAP Material Management Modules.
    • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
    • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to collaborate across various levels.

    Additional Information:

    • Salary: Up to SGD 12,000 +VB (1 - 2 Months)
    • Working Location: Tai Seng
    • Working Days: 5 working days (Monday to Friday) 
    • Working Hours: 9:00am - 6:00pm
    • Handphone allowance and transport allowance are claimable
