Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Occupational Therapist:
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality Occupational Therapy services for inpatients, outpatients, and home-based cases.
- Provide therapy support to assigned wards, ensuring continuity of care.
- Conduct and document initial assessments, reassessments every 6 months for maintenance cases and every 3 months for active rehabilitation, development of individualized rehabilitation goals, weekly reviews of rehabilitation plans, progress updates on treatment and discharge planning and follow-up care.
- Ensure timely follow-up with patients post-discharge.
- Participate in case conferences, multidisciplinary meetings, and family discussions to support patient care.
- Adhere to clinical guidelines and best practices, ensuring sound clinical decision-making.
- Conduct rehabilitation case management with physiotherapists and occupational therapists.
- Provide proper handover for cases when on leave to ensure continuity of care.
- Offer holistic rehabilitation input during case discussions to support comprehensive patient care.
- Implement appropriate safety measures during therapy sessions, including risk assessment of clinical settings.
- Engage with patients and their families to enhance rehabilitation outcomes, promote therapy carryover, and support skill application.
- Ensure safe usage of equipment, reporting any defects, incidents, or concerns for resolution.
- Collaborate with clients, families, and caregivers throughout the treatment and rehabilitation process.
- Conduct caregiver training to support at-home patient care when required.
- Utilize evidence-based assessments and treatments to develop, implement, and evaluate therapy interventions.
- Continuously monitor, evaluate, and adjust therapy plans within a multidisciplinary framework to enhance patient outcomes.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Preferably at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Fully registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC).
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Additional Information:
- Salary: Up to SGD 6,500 +AWS +VB (1 Months)
- Working Location: Upper Thomson
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 6pm
