The base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $70,000 to $110,000 per year. Actual compensation is based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate; therefore, we may pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation also includes bonus.

POSITION SUMMARY

Deliver operational efficiency on a beverage production line by leading a team of five maintenance technicians. Utilize PM system, work order system, and other proactive maintenance programs to eliminate downtime throughout facility.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Improve operational predictability by owning the Preventive Maintenance (PM) system and by developing strategic and tactical action plans
  • Ensure technical documentation, PMs, and spares for equipment are in place
  • Coach teams and leadership on effective PM planning / execution
  • Maximize production equipment availability, minimize unplanned downtime, and extend equipment life
  • Maintain all operations support equipment (Boilers, Air Compressors, and Refrigeration)
  • Engage, lead, and build technical mastery / capability in the maintenance team and line technicians
  • Develop trouble-shooting capabilities at all levels, including root cause failure analysis
  • Develop and execute repair & maintenance cost centers for the plant
  • Ensure all plant maintenance operations are conducted in a safe and controlled environment
  • Work with Plant Leadership to improve process reliability and run efficiency metrics
  • Effectively communicate results and address gaps in department performance through the implementation of continuous improvement methodologies; foster a zero-loss culture
  • Manage vendors and lead projects as needed
  • Active participation in developing and executing advanced mechanical and E&I training and qualification programs; participate in assessments, ensure effective training, and maintain consistent qualification standards

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience is required
  • Experience leading, supervising, or managing others is preferred

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Mechanical and electrical experience in food manufacturing preferred
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement type work systems and implementation preferred
  • Ability to prioritize work in a high demand work environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to work and influence within a team environment
  • Strong analytical, technical problem-solving, and root cause identification skills
  • Self-motivated with a sense of urgency and able to motivate others
  • Demonstrated results in manufacturing maintenance utilizing maintenance systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to flex schedule and take calls after hours during the week as needed to maintain production schedule (no production on weekends)
