Salary: $100,000 $110,000 plus bonus

Job Summary:

TrovaTal is representing a Boston-area employer with their search for a detail-oriented and hands-on Accounting Manager to oversee critical accounting functions while supporting corporate accounting initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to supervise staff, drive process improvements, and contribute to the success of a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and ensure compliance.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, including AP-related journal entries, account reconciliations, and reporting.
• Contribute to general ledger maintenance and financial statement preparation.
• Provide documentation and support for year-end audits and other compliance requirements.
• Oversee accounts payable operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payment disbursements, and vendor management.
• Monitor payment schedules and assist in managing cash flow.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and professional growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align accounting processes with overall organizational goals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable processes, general ledger accounting, and month-end close procedures.
• Experience with ERP systems, vendor management tools, and Excel preferred.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Compensation for this role:

• Base salary of $100,000 $110,000 plus bonus
