Senior Accountant Business Services
Location: Boston, MA (Financial District) on-site
Salary: $100,000 $115,000 plus bonus

Position Overview:
Reporting to the Controller, the Senior Accountant will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and supporting organizational goals. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who can work in a collaborative environment where they leverage outstanding attention to detail to succeed.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and reviewing financial statements.
- Prepare financial reports and assist in variance analysis to provide management with actionable insights.
- Support the development of annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies across all financial processes.
- Assist with cash flow management and tracking company expenditures.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure the accurate recording of transactions and operational alignment.
- Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation for the annual audit.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and streamline workflows.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
- 3-5 years of corporate accounting experience, in a business services or professional services environment preferred.
- CPA and/or experience with public accounting is a plus.
- Solid understanding of US GAAP and experience in financial reporting and analysis.
- Proficiency in Excel and other mid-market accounting software (Intacct, NetSuite, Dynamics BC) preferred.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
Compensation:
- Competitive salary based on experience. ($100,000 - $115,000)
