Job Summary
We are looking for a Social Media & Community Engagement Specialist to drive awareness, user acquisition, and engagement for our platform's upcoming launch. This role focuses on social media buzz campaigns, content creation, user engagement, and community building to create excitement and encourage sign-ups. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in shaping our brand’s online presence and fostering a strong user community.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Beta Social Campaign
Develop and execute a buzz campaign on social media to build anticipation around the platform’s launch.
Highlight the value proposition for both consumers and brands, creating excitement around early access.
Utilize organic and paid social media strategies to maximize reach, engagement, and conversions.
Content Creation
Craft engaging, brand-aligned social media posts focusing on cashback offers and exclusive early sign-up benefits.
Manage a content calendar to ensure a consistent posting schedule that maintains momentum and visibility.
Work with designers and video editors to create compelling visual and video content.
User Acquisition Goals
Set and execute strategies to achieve at least 15,000 user sign-ups within the first two weeks of the campaign.
Monitor sign-up data, campaign performance, and user engagement, optimizing for maximum conversion.
Implement A/B testing and adjust strategies based on performance insights.
Community Engagement
Actively engage with users across social media platforms, responding to queries, addressing concerns, and encouraging discussions.
Build a loyal and excited user community by fostering a sense of connection to the platform’s mission.
Implement interactive engagement strategies such as Q&As, polls, challenges, and giveaways.
Key Objectives
Drive early awareness of the platform, leading to at least 15,000 user sign-ups in the first two weeks.
Build and maintain a loyal social media following that actively engages with the brand.
Generate excitement around early access benefits, boosting brand credibility and trust.
General Coordination & Communication
Team Collaboration
Participate in regular meetings with the Brand Acquisition Specialist and Beta Testing Coordinator to share progress, address challenges, and align objectives.
Collaborate with the development team on technical aspects related to backend setup, receipt verification, and platform readiness.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or community engagement.
Proven track record of running successful social media campaigns and driving user engagement.
Strong knowledge of social media platforms, analytics tools, and digital marketing trends.
Experience with Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, TikTok promotions, and influencer collaborations.
Excellent communication, copywriting, and storytelling skills.
Ability to analyze campaign performance and optimize based on data insights.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in e-commerce, fintech, or platform-based businesses.
Familiarity with growth hacking techniques for rapid user acquisition.
Experience managing social media crises and brand reputation online.
