About the job HR Manager
Our client, a dynamic digital agency in the rapidly expanding iGaming industry, is seeking a talented and driven HR Manager to join their growing team in Cyprus.
The HR Manager will oversee and manage the day-to-day HR operations in our Cyprus office, ensuring alignment with the companys goals, objectives and culture. This position will be responsible for executing our HR strategies in areas such as recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits and compliance. The HR Manager will serve as a trusted partner to management and employees, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Managing the recruitment and onboarding processes, including work permits where required;
- Managing work permit renewal processes;
- Preparing payroll;
- Managing staff benefits;
- Liaising with local authorities and service providers;
- Ensuring compliance with local employment laws;
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices for drafting & updating of internal policies;
- Acting as a first point of contact for employees regarding HR & general office related inquiries;
- Escalating any conflicts, employee concerns and grievances;
- Promoting a positive workplace environment;
- Coordinating performance management and employee development;
- Maintaining up to date employee records in BambooHR;
- Keeping inventory of office supplies and ordering new materials as needed;
- Assisting Senior Management when required;
- Reserving meeting room for meetings;
- Organizing events when necessary;
- Ensuring office is clean and well maintained at all times;
- Key Relationships with Customer Service, VIP, Payments & Fraud, Marketing, Product, Finance as well as Local Authorities, Service Providers, Vendors
- Decision Making Authority
- Escalate issues to the Head of Human Resources
Requirements
- Ideally 3+ years experience in an HR role, in a similar company;
- Excellent written & verbal skills in English;
- Knowledge of BambooHR will be considered an asset;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Clean & smart appearance;
- Be a self-motivated & highly organized individual;
- Possess a strong eye for detail and a can-do attitude;
- Ability to handle sensitive & confidential information with integrity;
- Be conversant in the use of Microsoft Office applications;
- Loyal and hardworking;
- Experience working with remote colleagues & managers will be considered an asset
