About the job Commercial Director
Our client is seeking a visionary Commercial Director to drive the commercial performance of their international brands. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will play a key role in shaping and executing the companys commercial strategy to fuel revenue growth, expand market presence, and foster strategic partnerships. As the Commercial Director, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teamsincluding Commercial, Tech, Product, Customer Services, Operations, and Venues to improve customer experiences, identify growth opportunities, and mitigate business risks. With a deep understanding of the iGaming sector, particularly within B2C markets, your expertise will be critical in driving innovation and results across all commercial activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy to meet business goals and revenue targets across all brands.
- Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, revenue streams, and potential partnerships.
- Oversee market research and competitor analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Manage the commercial budget, working with the finance team to ensure cost efficiency and strong financial performance.
- Optimize pricing strategies, promotions, and customer acquisition costs to drive revenue growth.
- Use data-driven insights to continuously improve performance, identify growth areas, and refine strategies.
- Foster a high-performance, collaborative culture that empowers teams to exceed expectations.
- Develop innovative approaches to attract new customers and increase market share.
- Manage the customer research budget to ensure a deep understanding of customer needs and preferences.
- Lead the marketing team, allocating resources efficiently to meet business objectives and achieve ROI on campaigns.
- Mentor and inspire the commercial team, building a unique environment that promotes career development and learning.
- Work as a key member of the leadership team, contributing to the delivery of the companys P&L and overall business objectives.
- Champion the voice of the customer in strategic decisions and product roadmaps.
- Cultivate partnerships with influencers, stakeholders, and affiliates to grow brand reach.
Requirements:
- 4-5 years of experience in a senior commercial or marketing role within B2C iGaming, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth.
- Experience in iGaming operations, particularly within the Spanish market, is highly preferred.
- Proven success in managing P&L for an iGaming brand and delivering on commercial objectives.
- Broad expertise across digital gaming functions (CRM, Marketing, Content, Product) is a plus.
- Experience in a matrix management structure, ideally across multiple markets or territories.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Financial acumen with experience in managing budgets and delivering financial performance.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex internal stakeholder relationships.
