Compliance Analyst

Our client, a well known banking institution providing services internationally is seeking to hire a Compliance Analyst to join their team in Malta.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in fulfilling the Company's compliance requirements in relation to various legal frameworks, including Banking Rules.
• Aid in maintaining, enhancing, and implementing controls to reduce compliance risks.
• Provide support in compliance testing and monitoring, along with analyzing results to identify gaps.
• Raise concerns to the Compliance Manager when necessary.
• Help in developing new test reviews and checks.
• Contribute to the Company's robust compliance structure, ensuring the compliance register is current.
• Promote compliance awareness and foster a strong compliance culture across the organization.
• Offer general assistance to the Compliance Manager, including on ad-hoc projects or tasks.

Requirements:

• University Degree in banking, finance, or law from a recognized European institution or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of experience in a similar position within Banking or Financial Services
• Solid knowledge of Maltese and EU banking regulations, including Banking Rules.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage tasks under pressure.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
