About the job Paralegal
On behalf of our client, a start up company in Malta operating in the CSP area, we are seeking to recruit a proactive and independent Paralegal with a strong eagerness to grow and build a long-term career within our clients organization. The ideal candidate is well-presented, articulate, and possesses a professional level of English, both written and spoken. Responsibilities:
- Organizing and maintaining the companys legal files and databases, ensuring all documents are up-to-date, accurate, and easily accessible.
- Managing registrations with the Malta Business Registry, including ordering certificates and handling related communications with desk officers.
- Overseeing and coordinating signature processes to ensure timely and efficient execution.
- Editing, updating, and maintaining legal templates to ensure compliance with current standards and regulations.
- Assisting in the drafting of Board of Directors (BOD) and General Assembly minutes, as well as preparing presentations for board meetings.
- Supporting corporate projects, such as share capital increases, loan agreements, and other business-critical legal initiatives.
Requirements:
- A Bachelors degree in Law, Legal Studies, or a closely related field is preferred.
- At least 2 years of proven experience as a paralegal or in a similar legal support role.
- Familiarity with corporate legal terminology and processes.
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English at a professional level.
- Proficient in IT tools, including Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and quickly adapt to changing priorities.
- A proactive, independent, and self-motivated individual who demonstrates initiative and a strong commitment to their work.
- Highly trustworthy, reliable, and loyal, with a strong sense of professional ethics, integrity, and discretion.
- Practical-minded and results-oriented, with a keen eye for detail and quality.
- Willing and able to work from the office during standard working hours (09:00-17:00).
