Quality Assurance Tester

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Tester to join our clients team in a full-time hybrid role. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing test plans, conducting manual testing, creating and maintaining test cases, identifying and documenting defects, and ensuring quality assurance standards are consistently followed throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute test plans and perform manual testing across software applications.

• Create, maintain, and execute comprehensive test cases based on functional and business requirements.

• Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution.

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing as required.

• Work closely with developers and other team members to investigate and resolve issues.

• Ensure testing activities are completed accurately and within project timelines.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and testing methodologies.

• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of testing activities and results.

• Use Jira and other project management tools to manage and track testing activities.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of test execution and manual testing.

• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good understanding of quality assurance principles and software testing methodologies.

• Ability to create effective, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases.

• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing.

• Experience working within software development and testing environments.

• Knowledge of automated testing tools and frameworks is considered a plus.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a 

  related field.

• 1+ year of professional experience in test execution.

• 1+ year of professional experience using Jira.

• 1+ year of professional experience working with the .NET Framework.

• Practical experience with manual software testing and defect tracking.

• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
