About the job Head of Affiliates

Our client, a fast-scaling digital services provider within the iGaming industry, is seeking a Head of Affiliates to lead and expand its global affiliate marketing function. This role will oversee a team of up to 10 Affiliate Managers, driving strategy, performance, and operational excellence across multiple Tier 1 and Tier 2 markets.

The ideal candidate is a commercially driven leader with deep expertise in affiliate marketing, strong analytical capabilities, and proven experience managing high-performing teams in competitive, regulated environments.


Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the global affiliate marketing strategy aligned with company growth objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and scale a team of Affiliate Managers, fostering a high-performance and results-driven culture.
  • Set clear KPIs and performance targets across markets, ensuring consistent delivery against FTDs, revenue, ROI, and LTV goals.
  • Identify and capitalize on new growth opportunities, including market expansion and emerging affiliate channels.
  • Oversee the acquisition, onboarding, and development of high-value affiliate partners (SEO, PPC, media buyers, influencers, content publishers).
  • Guide the team in negotiating and optimizing commercial agreements (CPA, RevShare, Hybrid models).
  • Continuously refine partner mix and deal structures to maximize profitability and long-term value.
  • Monitor and optimize campaign performance across all affiliate channels using data-driven insights.
  • Ensure high standards of traffic quality, conversion rates, retention, and player value.
  • Oversee forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes, providing clear insights to senior leadership.
  • Ensure all affiliate activities comply with relevant regulations and internal policies across jurisdictions.
  • Work closely with Legal and Compliance teams to uphold responsible gambling practices and brand integrity.
  • Implement processes to detect and prevent fraudulent or non-compliant traffic.
  • Collaborate with Product, CRM, Marketing, and BI teams to align affiliate strategies with broader acquisition and retention initiatives.
  • Support market launches, particularly in newly regulated regions, leveraging affiliate channels effectively.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and exhibitions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners and stakeholders across the affiliate ecosystem.


Requirements:

  • 7–10+ years of experience in affiliate marketing within iGaming, gambling, or sports betting.
  • Proven experience leading and scaling affiliate teams in high-growth environments.
  • Strong understanding of CPA, RevShare, and Hybrid commercial models.
  • Demonstrated success managing large-scale, revenue-generating affiliate programs.
  • Advanced analytical skills with a deep understanding of performance metrics and unit economics.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly organized, strategic thinker with the ability to operate both hands-on and at a leadership level.
  • Fluent in English and Russian or Ukrainian.
  • Experience with affiliate platforms such as Affilka, Income Access, Everflow, or similar.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
