Accountant

The Accountant is responsible for the management and reporting of financial data including preparing financial statements, examine and analyze company's accounts and ensure compliance with financial reporting and other standard accounting procedures.

Responsibilities include:

• Reconciling the company's bank statements and general ledgers
• Completing analysis of the employee expenditures
• Managing income and expenditure accounts
• Creating budgets and documentation for year-end audit
• Generating the company's financial reports using income and expenditure data
• Keeping a check on the company's finances based on financial status
• Filing and remitting taxes and other financial obligations

Education/Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, CPA preferred
• Experience with accounting software i.e., Oracle, JDE, Sage, Great Plains
• Expert-level knowledge working with spreadsheets
• General ledger accounting practices including account recons, accruals and journal entries
• Excellent understanding of accounting rules and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Manufacturing or Distribution experience preferred
• Advanced knowledge and experience with spreadsheets
• Ability to work independently
• Strong Analytical skills
