Trisian-Global Consulting LLC is seeking an Industrial / Commercial Construction Manager in Houston TX for a full-time permanent position.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial / Commercial Construction Manager with a proven track record of successfully managing large construction and capital projects (200 M) from start to finish. As an Industrial/Commercial Construction Manager, you will be responsible for managing 5 project managers and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and manage construction projects from conception to completion
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
  • Oversee and coordinate all on-site activities including subcontractors, suppliers, and construction workers
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements
  • Interacts with planning commissions and government bodies.
  • Coordinates costing estimation, contract negotiation and remodeling activities.  
  • Develop and organize assignments, timetables, and responsibilities for team members for the duration of the project.
  • Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure timely completion
  • Review and approve project designs, plans, and specifications
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality control and identify any potential issues
  • Communicate with clients, stakeholders, and team members to provide project updates and address any concerns
  • Manage project documentation and maintain accurate records
  • Mentor and train junior team members
  • Collaborate with other departments and external partners to ensure project success

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Other related industry certifications are encouraged - PMP, and CPM.
  • Experience with projects such as new construction, renovations, and infrastructure renewals.
  • Minimum of 6 years of direct project management experience in the Building Construction Industry
  • Proficient in Project Management, project scheduling software (Microsoft Project and/or Primavera P6), and financial accounting systems.
  • Advanced working knowledge of project scheduling and documentation techniques and processes.
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
