Position: Manufacturing Accountant

Trisian-Global Consulting LLC is currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Accountant to join a client team in Memphis, Tennessee.

As a Manufacturing Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial activities of our manufacturing facilities.  You will work closely with the management team to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, preparation of financial statements, and analysis of financial data. Your primary goal will be to provide valuable insights and recommendations to help our manufacturing sites improve their financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements for manufacturing clients
  • Monitor and report on financial performance, highlighting variances and identifying areas for improvement
  • Perform cost analysis and develop cost-saving strategies for manufacturing operations
  • Manage inventory accounting, including tracking inventory levels and reconciling inventory records
  • Oversee the budgeting and forecasting process for manufacturing sites
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and systems
  • Provide financial guidance and support to management for decision making
  • Conduct regular audits to identify and address potential financial risks
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in manufacturing accounting

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
  • Experience with inventory accounting and cost analysis
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
