Physical Therapist

(skilled nursing facility) located in Mapplewood, Minnesota that is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join their team on a full-time basis. As a Physical Therapist in this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and make a positive impact on their lives.

Responsibilities:

- Evaluate patients' physical abilities and develop individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, reduce pain, and increase strength and flexibility

- Utilize a variety of techniques and modalities, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and equipment, to help patients achieve their treatment goals

- Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed

- Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques to continue their progress outside of therapy sessions

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive care for patients

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and communicate with insurance companies as needed

- Participate in team meetings and continuing education opportunities to stay current on best practices and advancements in the field of physical therapy

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

- Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist

- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a SNF or similar environment

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals

- Ability to create and implement effective treatment plans and adapt them as needed

- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in the field of physical therapy

- Willingness to work with a diverse patient population and provide compassionate care to individuals of all backgrounds

Contract Details:

- Full-time position, with the potential for flexible scheduling

- Competitive hourly rate of up to $50 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
