To further accelerate the growth and development of our business, they have identified the role of a SupplyChain Coordinator. This is a critical appointment for us: the Supply Chain Coordinator is an integral part of the subsidiary team responsible for implementing effective processes for the management of the company's inventory.
The Supply Chain team
The Supply Chain team is expected to work cross-functionally with colleagues here in the UK, those situated in our Head Office, and in our subsidiaries around the globe. The role will contribute to the overall financial and commercial objectives of the subsidiary through the provision of timely, accurate and relevant information to stakeholders so that they can make informed business-critical decisions and drive future business performance. The Supply Chain Coordinator will be expected to work closely with other members of the UK & HQ Finance, Customer Service & Commercial teams.
Key Accountabilities of Role:
*Monitoring daily sales order reports and delivery requirements and running the auto-delivery creation routines in SAP Booking in deliveries with customers where required.
*Managing all inbound activities to 3PL and updating SAP manually with GRN information.
*Responsible for opening new material codes in SAP and any other material code maintenance.
*Responsible for managing transfers of stock between Lavazza warehouses within the UK.
*Placing purchase orders and monitoring deliveries and supply levels of non-core stock items from 3rd party suppliers.
*Updating SAP with additional delivery information for KPI monitoring purposes.
*Organising and attending half-yearly physical stock counts at 3PL and our own warehouse.
*Reconciling stock records with physical count and investigating discrepancies. Preparing files so that SAP can be updated.
*Monitoring product best before end dates and updating key finance & commercial staff.
*Arranging the physical disposal of damaged or out-of-date goods, in accordance with our guidelines.
*Ensuring all reporting deadlines are met.
Candidate profile
Experience and competencies
*Experience working within the finance or supply chain area of a commercial organisation.
*FMCG or distribution background preferable.
*Fluent in English, knowledge of other European languages could be an advantage, strong superior communication skills oral and written.
*Proven business partnering experience with strong commercial awareness and customer focus.
*Experience in working closely with staff from other business disciplines.
*Having a can-do attitude and possessing constructive scepticism. In other words, not being afraid to challenge conventional thought.
*Ability to manage competing priorities, and be able to deliver on time and to high degrees of accuracy.
*Knowledge of SAP, Computer literacy Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, Outlook.
