About the role

Trideca is seeking a highly skilled Senior iOS Developer with a strong background in SwiftUI.

As a Senior iOS Developer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including backend engineers and business analysts, to deliver innovative and scalable solutions within a fast-paced, Agile environment.

What you'll be doing

• Building and contributing to the design of our client's mobile banking platform
• Designing, developing, reviewing, implementing, and managing application code and services for the production and pre-release environments
• Participating in Agile software development, prototyping, and code review with international development teams to build mobile apps
• Monitoring for, and anticipating platform trends and upcoming critical changes
• Monitoring client feedback for problems and proactively schedules resolutions where needed
• Working with delivery teams to achieve success through development using CI/CD and DevOps practices, processes and tooling
• Providing robust coding practices and solid unit and component test coverage, and code debugging
• Providining technical guidance and leadership to other development staff

What we are looking for

• iOS development experience - including extensive experience with SwiftUI
• Strong awareness of the banking and finance industry, trends and threats (technology, products, regulatory environment)
• Proven experience as a senior developer working within Agile teams. Expected to contribute to the ongoing improvement of development processes, tools, strategies and methodologies
• Experience in mentoring and sharing knowledge with your peers
• Excellent communication, written, and presentation skills
• Experience writing highly tested code within a shared code base and applying best practice principles and techniques agreed on by the wider team
• Experience working with CI/CD software development pipelines
• Experience working in Scrum and associated agile techniques
• Experience with using GIT for software version control
• Automated UI test development experience (Espresso)
• Experienced across the full software delivery life cycle (planning, analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance)

Nice to have

• Android experience (Kotlin / Compose) alongside iOS
• Experience operating at a high-end senior or tech lead level
• Ability to contribute across both mobile platforms when needed
