About the role
Trideca is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex digital and engineering initiatives across mobile and backend platforms.
This role requires strong technical literacy. You wont be coding, but you must understand solution design, microservices architecture, mobile delivery, and how engineering teams operate. Youll work closely with architects and engineers, ensuring delivery is structured, risks are managed early, and outcomes align with strategic objectives.
The environment is fast-moving and highly collaborative, requiring confident stakeholder engagement and the ability to manage change effectively.
You will be responsible for;
- Lead multiple complex technical projects end-to-end, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines aligned to business strategy
- Develop detailed project plans across full project lifecycles
- Manage mobile (iOS/Android) and backend service delivery, including Golang-based microservices environments
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, architecture, product, and executive stakeholders
- Track and report on progress, milestones, risks, and issues, implementing mitigation strategies proactively
- Ensure delivery aligns with enterprise architecture standards and technology guardrails
- Use tools such as JIRA and MS Project to maintain transparency and structure
- Work closely with architects and engineers to understand solution design, dependencies, and technical trade-offs
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, managing expectations and communication
- Develop and deliver executive updates, presentations, and change impact reports
- Foster strong internal and external stakeholder relationships to ensure alignment
- Design and coordinate training programs for targeted user groups
- Plan and deliver training communications and engagement activities
- Integrate change and adoption activities into overall project plans
- Monitor adoption, gather feedback, and refine change strategies to improve effectiveness
- Ensure compliance with company policies, delivery standards, and governance frameworks
- Identify opportunities to improve project and change management processes
- Coach and mentor junior project managers on frameworks, tools, and best practices
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and delivery approaches, sharing insights with the broader team
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of new team members where required
What we are looking for
- 7+ years experience delivering complex digital or technology projects
- Proven experience managing mobile application delivery (native iOS and Android preferred)
- Strong understanding of backend services and microservices architecture (Golang exposure highly regarded)
- Experience working closely with architects and senior engineering teams
- Demonstrated experience in Agile delivery environments
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including executive-level communication
- Experience in financial services or other regulated industries preferred
