Job Summary

We are looking for an Area Sales Manager for Treet Battery Limited- Interior Sindh based town is Sukkur shall be responsible for managing and driving sales activities within a specific geographic area of Sukkur and surroundings of Interior Sindh, ensuring the achievement of sales targets, and maintaining strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and customers. This role requires a deep understanding of the battery industry, the ability to analyze market trends, and the leadership skills to manage a sales team effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Execution:
    • Achieve and exceeds assigned sales target of area/city(s)
    • Implement the sales strategies developed by the regional sales manager to meet sales targets.
    • Analyze the market within the assigned area to identify sales opportunities and potential challenges.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional activities and campaigns.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
    • Manage and lead a team of Sales Executives and Officers, ensuring they are motivated and equipped to meet their sales targets.
    • Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to the sales team.
    • Conduct regular team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and strategies.
  • Distributor and Retailer Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and retailers to ensure product availability and visibility.
    • Monitor the performance of distributors and retailers, ensuring they meet agreed-upon sales targets with guidance of Line Manager
  • Sales Performance Monitoring:
    • Track and analyze sales data for the area, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
    • Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, highlighting achievements and challenges.
    • Adjust sales tactics based on performance data and market conditions.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing issues and complaints promptly and effectively.
    • Gather customer feedback to inform product development and service improvement.
  • Market Intelligence:
    • Stay informed about competitors' activities, market trends, and customer preferences.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on market intelligence.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a sales role, preferably from Paints or Lubricants Industry
  • At least 2 years of proven managerial experience of assigned city
  • Strong resilience and can-do attitude
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and market trends.
  • Good knowledge of Ms Office
  • Willingness to extensive travel within the designated area
  • Age below 35
