Role and Responsibilities:
- Identify best practices and lead continual improvement initiatives to reduce work process risks, raise safety awareness and improve safe work practices.
- Maintain the Management systems certifications (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 & 45001:2018).
- Ensure site compliance according to regulation of environment protection agency.
- Develop, maintain & report the leading & lagging indicators for site HSE performance.
- Conduct /assist Hazard identification, risk assessment of plant processes.
- Perform safety audits and inspect facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards and lead cultural change in the factory to embed safe working behaviors.
- Investigate accidents, near-miss incidents, and occupational injuries to determine causes and suggest Corrective & preventive actions.
- Conduct Emergency drills and carry out gap analysis for continual improvement.
- Ensure site compliance with company Policies & government regulation to provide safe working environment.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- BS (Chemical/Mechanical/Environment/Electrical) / Min 3-5 Years of experience.
- Internationally recognized Certifications.
Preferred Skills:
- At least 3-5 years of experience in the field of EHS Production & Projects with Internationally recognized certifications.
- Strong Knowledge of Regulatory Compliance Familiarity with national and international EHS regulations e.g., OSHA, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, NEQS.
- Ability to implement and maintain compliance programs.
- Risk Assessment & Hazard Analysis Proficiency in conducting HAZOP, JSA, FMEA, and safety audits.
- Ability to identify potential hazards and implement preventive/corrective measures.
- Incident Investigation & Root Cause Analysis Skilled in conducting thorough investigations using tools like 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, or Taproot.
- Training & Safety Culture Development.
- Emergency Response & Crisis Management.
